Head of Finance | Media | £80,000-£90,000 plus bonus | London

An ambitious, growing, Central London based Digital Agency is looking to hire a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. Reporting to the MD, you will be the No1 in Finance, leading the finance team, and being a key member of the Senior management team.

You will play an integral part in supporting the business in achieving their growth plans over the next 3 years and will be the sounding board and advisor to the MD and Senior Management team on how the business can grow, both organically and through acquisition. As the Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of the finance function, Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing the finance team
  • Business partnering with commercial and operational teams to understand commercial and finance drivers within the business
  • Assessing commercial viability of future acquisitions
  • Working closely with the leadership team on strategy, roadmap, and targets for the business
  • Weekly and monthly reporting key financials such as business and management information, KPIs to key stakeholders across the wider business
  • Ad-hoc project work including implementing a new ERP system
  • Responsible for reviewing and presenting accurate management accounts to the MD and SM team
  • Overall responsibility for financial control and reporting on a day to day basis

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with previous experience working in small, but growing Marketing or Digital Agency. You must be comfortable working in a hands-on role, where you will be taking ownership of the finance function, in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You must have proven experience of WIP reporting, managing staff, and challenging senior stakeholders. Experience working for an SME business where you have reported to the CFO/FD would be highly advantageous. To succeed in this role, you will be a natural communicator, process-driven, and will be proactive in driving change.
