SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant for students aged 7-16 - Reading - Berkshire - Ideal for Psychology, Criminology and Sociology graduates.

A school based in the picturesque borough of Berkshire are looking for a SEN Behaviour Teaching Assistant who will monitor and maintain the behavior of students with SEN to start ASAP. This role would suit someone who is looking for a career in Education Psychology, Teaching or a stepping stone into working with the Police and criminology.

Job role will include:

-An ASAP start date or September start

-£70-£80 day rate

-Reading based

-Work with students aged 7-16 with different needs

-Opportunity to work with professionals in related fields

-Ideal for graduates in Psychology and Teaching or those looking to work in the Police with a Criminology degree

-Safeguarding and other relevant training provided

-Good public transport connections (20 minutes into London)

-Personal attributes including patient, resilient and nurturing

Children you would be working with may have behavior difficulties due to a range of different SEN needs including: difficulties processing information, speech and language challenges, anxieties, suffered with trauma, dyslexia and dyscalculia. You will be responsible for lunchtime duties, classroom behavior management, working 1:1 with students when needed and safeguarding.
