Revenue Care Manager - Air Logistics | United Kingdom | GB13971

Our Air Logistics Revenue Care Centre (RCC) team delivers financial excellence; looking after our customers' billing and financial systems. We now have exciting new opportunities for Revenue Care Managers to join our Centre of Excellence.


As an RCC Manager, you will be responsible for organising and managing a team of Revenue Care Specialists. You'll support and guide your team to ensure our Customer's invoices are accurate and on time and that internal auditing processes are adhered to ensure maximum profitability and to meet KPI's. You'll be collaborating with counterparts in Customer and Operational Care (amongst others) to facilitate good working relationships and to proactively address issues that may impact the RCC.

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Revenue Care Specialists, co-ordinating day to day activities to ensure task completion and best in class service to our customers and ensure the highest levels of productivity within the RCC
  • Ensure excellence through high-quality invoice and Forwarding Sub Ledger (FSL) Management utilising the systems and tools available; ensure excellence through high-quality file auditing, supporting the processes associated with Invoice entry, Cost entry and Gross Profit Confirmation
  • Ensure Creditors Invoices are acknowledged / disputed in a timely manner so that our suppliers are paid within agreed terms; investigate issues or failures within the process or individual files to identify root cause
  • Support with on boarding, training and development of RCC Specialists within immediate team, to meet their expectations as well as to ensure that the team is performing to Kuehne+Nagel (KN) standards and procedures and conduct team PPR (Performance and Potential Review). Coach, mentor and manage the team in line with KN behaviours. and build and maintain your team and encourage development of individual employees through IDP's
  • Own and ensure timely resolution for any escalations relating to our internal customers and escalate operational issues which cannot be resolved to the National Revenue Care Manager
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient processes; foster a mindset within the team to deliver process / continuous improvement adding value to the customer
  • Liaise with relevant Customer Care locations for smooth on boarding of new customers
  • Act as remote support where required for other RCC Manager absence if and when required
  • Compile monthly KPI reports, ensure policies and procedures are adhered to within your team and provide all team members with adequate tools, equipment and training to perform their tasks
  • Full awareness and understanding of related Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and Working Instructions (WI)

  • Team lead or management experience in the Transport and/or Logistics sector, ideally with a focus on Air Logistics or in the context of Finance
  • An understanding of operational Air Logistics systems and processes alongside financial systems would be ideal
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills, especially relating to empathy, listening and coaching; if you have led a variety of teams that would be ideal
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal and able to organise and prioritise with strong time management skills
  • Customer focused, performance driven and with good commercial acumen
  • A good problem solver, able to manage change and embrace new technologies
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Flexible approach and able to travel nationally when required
