Nursing Home Manager Worthing Up to £60K
Salary: £50K - £60K
Hours: 40 hours per week, weekday day shifts, with some flexibility when required
Service: Care home with nursing
Ellie at Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a nursing home manager to lead the team at a brand-new, luxury nursing home based in Worthing.
The home has a team of dedicated staff who are passionate about providing high standards of care for the elderly, some of who are living with age related conditions.
As the nursing home manager you will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the team overseeing the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service without compromising the quality of care given to each of the residents.
Main Duties as Nursing Home Manager:
• To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld.
• To market the home effectively and increase occupancy levels within the service
• To assist with the recruitment for the home
• To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met.
• To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs.
• To ensure that the dignity and individuality of each service user is respected and that they are able to exercise choice in all areas of their life.
• To work in accordance with the companies vision statement, policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation
• To lead, coach and mentor your team to create the best working environment for your staff.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in a similar setting
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
• Nurse qualified NMC PIN (preferred)
• RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent
• Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budgets
