About the Role

This is an exciting time for the RNN Group with the introduction of a new Strategic Development Plan for 2025 in which marketing and learner recruitment have a key role to play in working to support and deliver an increase in learner recruitment numbers across 16-18 years olds, degrees level students in our purpose-built University (UCR), adult learners and apprentices.

In a highly competitive market, we need to stand out to prospective learners, employers and other key influencers. As the Marketing Manager you will need to demonstrate creativity as you will help plan year-round recruitment campaign activity including events, advertising, media relations and the design and production of supporting on and offline marketing materials.

As Marketing Manager, you will have operational management of the marketing, digital, website and graphic design team, playing a key supporting role in the implementation of a new marketing and recruitment strategy for the Group alongside the Director for Marketing and Learner Recruitment.

You will...

You will have experience within a senior marketing role and have proven successful experience with similar objectives. You will have a strong track record of managing and inspiring successful team/s.

Other essential qualities will include superb organisational and planning skills and the ability to motivate and lead the marketing team to ensure the provision of excellent customer service to colleagues across the Group.

Department Info

You will report to the Director of Marketing and Learner Recruitment, who has a strategic role on the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for marketing and recruitment strategy.

You will have direct operational line management responsibility for the Senior Marketing Officer, Senior Digital Marketing Officer, Graphic Designer and Group Websites Officer, overseeing additional Marketing Officers and Digital Marketing Officer/Assistants.

The role of Marketing Manager forms part of our College Management Team also and the role will involve working closely and developing strong relationships with curriculum and support staff across the Group.
