*This role is Inside of IR35 and is a hybrid role-2 days a week on site*Our client, a Medium sized Bank based in outer London are looking for a Senior Project Manager to assist them with an implementation of a Core banking platform. The client requires someone who has specifically worked on integration projects with practical experience. Ideally this person would have experience with SaaS.Duties:
  • Assess, plan and agree the technical components, tasks and activities for each designated workstream. This must include consideration of the technical policy, standards and strategy.
  • Co-ordinate tasks and activities to support requirements through the project delivery cycle working across IT, Testing, environment & release management and Security and Resilience functions
  • Ensuring tasks are accurately represented and QA'd within project plans for task, resource, time and cost, at a detailed level
  • Manage infrastructure risks issues and dependencies, relevant to IT projects and programmes
  • Provide advice and guidance on infrastructure related delivery options, design, testing and delivery plans to the Project Managers, delivery and test teams
  • Provide infrastructure related impact assessments, as requested, including but not limited to impact of external, enterprise Programmes against the IT Shared Services and Technology Portfolio's
  • Conduit for dependencies on Shared Services as agreed
  • Run, administer and support the technical tracking workshops
  • Manage critical path elements, dependencies and resources
  • Proven experience delivering IT implementation projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment, specifically that's required to support multiple business projects
  • Excellent project management, organisation, and team collaboration skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Commercial experience in Enterprise-scale Technology environments
  • Comfortable dealing with multiple technical and non-technical, internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skill including the ability to translate technical issues and updates to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, calm under pressure and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation
  • Previous experience of Financial Services.
