We are delighted to representing this Oftsed rated good primary in the recruitment of a Romanian speaking Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will be joining this thriving team from September 2022. You will be supporting pupils who are both new to school and new to the country in building language proficiency and settling into school life. Applicants will be supporting pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis, carrying out English intervention works to drive forwards language proficiency among pupils.
This school is located within proximity to Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Alum Rock, Digbeth and Birmingham City Centre. Our client is a large and diverse primary school. A real focus is placed on upholding the school ethos which is built on mutual respect filtered through from SLT. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet our client prior to being appointed to the role. The expected salary range for this position is between £65 -£80 per day, dependent on experience level. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification- for example, Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in School
• Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
• Able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
