Head of Organic Social - London (3 days in office) - Up to £80,000 - Marketing

Do you want to work on social campaigns across the globe, lead a transition to in-house social media ownership, and make your mark on a rapidly growing business? Our client are looking for a Head of Social to focus on raising brand awareness, increasing acquisition and retention, and taking ownership of all social media channels, as well as working with external agencies in various countries all over the world!

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of large-scale social media campaigns across the globe, managing content, activities, and all initiatives
  • Craft an effective, creative, and dynamic social strategy
  • Understand the nuances of all campaigns depending on relevant demographics
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team
  • Partake in regular industry and competitor analysis and report on any opportunities to increase awareness or revenue
  • Suggest new tools that enable marketing automation at a global level
  • Ensure content is relevant, innovative, and effective in achieving KPI's
  • Report regularly on campaign performance regarding key targets
  • Educate the wider business on social best practices to ensure a holistic approach
  • Develop strong working relationships with key external stakeholders and influencers

Skills and Experience:
  • Over 5 years experience in social media, building brand equity and organic social awareness
  • A strategic thinker - someone who can view campaigns from a top level perspective but also understand day-to-day marketing activity
  • Experience in organic social and content is vital
  • Innovative and creative individual
  • Detail-orientated marketeer
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Organised with impeccable time management
  • Reflexive and open to feedback
  • A background in Media/Agency is beneficial
