Position: Marketing Communications Specialist - Cardiff, UK

Location: Huntleigh Healthcare, Cardiff, UK

Job type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week


The Marketing Communications Specialist will be accountable for the creation, development and publication of print and digital marketing content for internal and external marketing platforms in close collaboration with the Global Head of Marketing, Product Management and Clinical Specialists.

This role will also provide support in the creation and development of content and forming the Huntleigh digital marketing strategy whilst ensuring alignment with the Huntleigh (and Arjo) Brand and product marketing strategies working alongside our Digital Marketing Associate.

* Recommendation, creation, development, production, publication and management of digital campaigns including content creation, design, delivery and analysis

* Ideation of suitable content to maximise Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

* Liaison with the product management, clinical and sales management to ensure appropriate, relevant and scalable digital assets for new launches, product lifecycle updates and campaigns

* Develop content for digital marketing platforms including Arjo intranet, email, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) and website content.

* Develop strong collaborative working relationships with the German and USA marketing / sales teams

* Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales and Product Management colleagues to create, develop and deliver promotional messaging

* Track and measure digital campaign performance and present findings to marketing team and senior management

* Monitor and report on competitor social media content and engagement

* Report on web and social trends and draw insights to inform business opportunities

* Video script creation and work closely with our Digital Marketing Executive

* Develop, distribute, monitor and maintain internal and external Customer Satisfaction Survey's to ensure the products support we provide proactively responds to changes in the market segments and customer needs


* Previously held relevant marketing communications role, ideally in a healthcare environment

* Evidence of strategic thinking to create and execute comprehensive long term marketing plans which have delivered demonstrable profitable revenue growth

* A proven track record of conceptualising, writing and creating a wide range of marketing collatorals, including product sales material and experience in drafting internal/external communications

* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, namely Word, PowerPoint and Excel

* Attention to detail with excellent product management skills

* An excellent and confident communicator who is able to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing

* Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment (not sure about this one)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills both over the telephone and face to face
