JOB SPECIFICATION R&D Technician Basingstoke

£21 phr Umbrella

£17 PAYE

Summary of the specification for the role;

Location:

Lab Based role in Basingstoke 5 days a week, candidate location should have sensible commute

Core Purpose:

Carry out electrical and mechanical type tests on new designs of vending equipment (which are a mix of electronic, mechanical and software systems):

* Create tests with support from design engineers

* Build any rigs fixtures required for test

* Build any necessary hardware (mechanical and electrical) to conduct tests

* Undertake testing and document methodology

* Capture and report out results in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* As required work with designer to improve designs in line with test results

Knowledge/Experience:

Have experience of Health and Safety in lab environment

Have Knowledge of hand tools and general lab test equipment (Scopes, PSU's etc.)

Documenting and reporting using Office Applications:

* Use Excel including entering data and creating suitable charts and graphs

* Create reports in Word

* Email via MS Outlook

* Collaborate using MS Teams

* Use of OneNote for collaboration
