Finance Officer

My client a leading London academic school has an immediate need for a Finance Officer with experience in the Education/Local Government to join them initially on a temporary basis through a period of growth. You will initially be responsible for all aspects of payables and receivable including general ledger reconciliations.

Duration - Ongoing temporary - potentially could go permanent

Hours of work: 9am-5pm

Salary 18p/h PAYE

Job:

Maintain Sales and Purchase invoice processing

Bank and credit card reconciliation

Petty cash control

Reviewing and monitoring aged debtor/creditor reports

Candidate profile:

Have a solid understanding of debits and credits as well as school finance processes

A methodical approach and problem solving skills;

Organised and able to manage deadlines

Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
