Our client is looking for a Finance Director with complex accounting experience to take
responsibility for the business' accounting functions and help manage future needs in what is a rapidly growing business. The business provides key services to a sector that will only grow and develop over the next few years and whose future potential growth is both inevitable and infinite. We are looking for an ambitious candidate to fill what is strategically critical role as it will be required to help deliver and manage continued business growth and efficiency improvements through high quality reporting, advice, and excellent commercial instinct.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience of seeking continuous improvement and
producing accounts and supporting analysis that contribute to the strategic growth of the business. This role will appeal to someone who wants to develop their career to the next level as they will be required to work in an autonomous manner and have the opportunity to grow with the company and role and what is still an early stage in the company's development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, coordinating with local accounting firms

• Interpret legislative and regulatory requirements where necessary and ensure any resulting
amendments to processes or procedures are implemented

• Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making

• Monitor financial performance and produce financial statements including P&L accounts,
cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries at UK and group levels

• Provide leadership and oversight to a small team in two countries, including day-to-day
administrative tasks

• Produce month end and year end accounts

• Manage any transition of customers between group businesses

• Manage currency exposure and ensure exchange costs are minimised where possible

• Ensure intra-group transactions comply with agreements and legislation

• Prepare statutory accounts and support year end audits where necessary

• Review accounting processes, systems, and practices and improve where necessary to
ensure efficient financial operations

• Review company assets and liabilities

• Maintain relationships with banks, external auditors, advisors, and other service providers

• Analyse financial information to provide insight and stimulate profitability and growth

• Create and maintain robust budget models for each group entity

• Manage UK accounts payable, payroll processing, VAT, and bank reconciliation

• Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met in a timely manner

• Support existing finance team to maintain high standards of expectation

• Investigate simplification and administration management tools such as payment through
credit card

• Assist with the planning, testing, training, implementation and review of all aspects of
computerised financial systems, including in-house and third-party

• Determine options for introducing a credit system for customers and the eventual
integration of this system with the IT infrastructure

• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process

• Ad-hoc reporting to support business leads in driving improvement

We are looking for a Qualified candidate who has worked in a senior leadership position - ideally in a group style organisation. International accounting experience would be beneficial. Moreover is the need for a strong communicator, a can do attitude and someone who is ambitious to progress their career forward. This role will partner with all members of the SMT and provide a key strategic impact into the development and growth of this exciting business
