Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Birmingham based client in their search for an experienced Payroll & Pensions Manager to join the business on an initial six month fixed term contract basis. You will be working as part of a nationally recognised business and will be responsible for a team which successfully processes multiple weekly and month payrolls from start to finish for 3000+ employees. My client is looking for a Payroll & Pensions Manager with demonstrable experience of implementing process improvements as they continue to improve their delivery.

* Previous experience of managing a team responsible for overseeing large complex payrolls

* Contribute to strategic business planning to ensure the successful delivery of payroll projects

* Reviewing and reporting on pension schemes to monitor performance

* Designing workflow processes to maximise efficiency

* Support senior management with systems improvements

* Maintaining best practices and ensuring continued team development through training programmes

* Reconciling payroll and resolving discrepancies

* Dealing with complex payroll queries
