NXTGEN is working with a recognised Chartered Accountants who are looking expand their Audit Senior team out. This role can either be based in their Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds office due to the amount of clients they have in the area. The successful post holder will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of both existing and new clients. This is a new and exciting opportunity for someone looking to get involved in a mixed role that will include both Audit and Accounts preparation duties, including being responsible for accounts prep, Tax and Vat returns. As Audit Senior it is key you are passionate about ensuring the integrity of the business whilst ensuring the highest standard of client delivery. Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

-Plan and complete annual Audit for a broad client portfolio

-Produce month end accounts in a timely manner

-Production of quarterly Vat & Tax returns

-Support and mentor junior team members and aid with training where needed.

The successful candidate will ideally be either a finalist or fully qualified in either ACA/ACCA or equivalent. You will also need to be confident working with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships on a daily basis. Excellent communication and Excel skills are essential to be successful in this role
