Travel Branch Manager - Bishop Stortford

We are looking for a Travel Branch Manager where your role will be to oversee the team and day to day business activities. You will come with travel experience and experience of being in a senior role. You will be reporting to the Retail director and be a part of implementing ideas and strategies to ensure achieve targets are met. Start: ASAP Location: Bishop Stortford Duration: Full time/Permanent Salary: £26,500 to £33,500 Hours: Monday - Saturday - 9am - 5pm (1 day off in the week and 1 Saturday a month off) OR minimum of 4 days also considered Benefits: Overseas educational travel opportunities, excellent staff travel rates, social events throughout the year, pension scheme, friends, and family holiday discounts. Duties: - Mentoring and supporting the team with sales and bookings - Running the store on a daily basis, dealing with any matters - Actively attracting local business with promotions, offers and ways to increase sales - Working with the head office marketing team to help promote the business - Greeting customers in store and supporting with their needs - Booking travel on behalf of the customers - Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis - Ensuring retail store is fully stocked with stationary, brochures and other equipment needed - Conducting individual and team meetings - Carrying out performance reviews with the team and giving training support where required - Leading an exceptional example of customer service - Working with the team to achieve team targets Skills and Experience: - MUST have previous travel agency experience and travel experiences - MUST have experience of being in a senior role - Ability to motivate a team - Promote a positive and enthusiastic working attitude - Strong geographical skills - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to achieve targets - Commercially and business awareness If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
