A fantastic new opportunity as a full time, Assistant Accountant based in Oldham. The position is an immediate start on a 4-6-month temporary position with an hourly rate between £17.00 - £19.00, with hybrid working on offer (2 days in office and 3 at home).

Description
The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;
Assistant Accountant background
Not for Profit and Charities
Ability to travel to officer two times per a week in Oldham
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Work alongside the Fixed Assets team
Support the production of the monthly and quarterly management accounts
Accruals and adjustments journals are posted
Analysis and investigation of budget reports
Forecasts with budget holders
Development of financial models
Implement or enhance internal control
Contribute to the improvement in delivery of management information
Accounts are accurate reflection of the business
Provide training and support to operational staffProfile
The successful candidate must possess the following skill set and experience;
Assistant Accountant background
Not for Profit and Charities
Ability to travel to officer two times per a week in Oldham
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Able to performance Balance Sheet reconciliations
Experience of month end financial processes and review of journals
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good written and oral skills
Ability to analyse and manipulate data
Background supporting in projects
Part qualified
Ability to use financial systems including Excel SpreadsheetsJob Offer
