Senior Finance Manager for a Disruptive Travel/Consumer Lending BNPL Fintech!!

My client is disrupting and revolutionising the world of travel tech and is on a mission to help global travel businesses increase their sales by allowing their customers a flexible payment option at checkout.

As a Senior Finance Manager you will be part of the Finance Team managing a team of accountants, working directly with the CFO in a dynamic environment to accelerate their business and evolve the go-to-finance strategy.

Responsibilities:

Accounting

• Monthly Management Accounts finalisation and review for the group that includes 9 entities (UK, US and EUR).
• Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements (Balance Sheet and Income Statement and Cashflow Report) for the group on a monthly basis.
• Ongoing management of financial reporting, accounting records and controls for the group.
• Supervising the work and activities of the Financial Accountant
• Processing monthly payroll for UK, EUR and US on fortnightly basis.
• Submitting P11D form for UK entitles.
• Processing Quarterly VAT returns for the UK entities.

Treasury

• Supervising the work and activities of the Treasury Analyst
• Development and issue resolution of data from the lending system to ensure data integrity and funder requirements are met.
• Daily monitoring, control and movement of funds of internal bank accounts and virtual card accounts.
• Maintaining daily capital adequacy tracker for control of funds and compliance.
• Supervision of weekly and monthly KPI reporting.

External Parties

• Will have point of contact for dealings with different departments

Other

• Support the CFO with ad-hoc activities including Forecasts and Budgets, Board Packs and analysis.
• Main Finance point of contact for many and varying projects the company undertakes.

Essential Experience

• A Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
• Recent experience in a BNPL or consumer lending business is necessary.
• Experience of working with Debt Funders.
• Managing and motivating a small team.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills with the ability to handle large data sets.

Desired Experience

• Experience of working for an early stage, fast growth fin-tech business.
• Responsibility of working on international subsidiaries, particularly the US.
• Experience of working within a regulatory environment with private equity backing.
• Treasury experience and working with virtual card providers.
