Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school, located in Sandwell close to Smethwick, the school are looking to recruit a qualified Female Physical Education teacher. The role will be full time and will start as soon as possible, this is to cover maternity leave for the rest of the academic year and into the next. The school have specified they require a female teacher due to supervision required within the changing rooms.

The school is based in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and hard-working environment. The school also offers good indoor and outdoor facilities, to allow for creative and fun lessons. The successful candidate will also be joining a supportive and inclusive departmental team.

The successful applicant will have:

* A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS

* A strong passion for the subject of Physical Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

* A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment

* The ability to be involved with extracurricular PE clubs/activities

Rates of pay will vary dependent at on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum)
