We are looking to recruit qualified KS1 and 2 Teacher's to support our primary schools across the East Lancashire area from September 2022. If you are a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher, who understands the importance of academic development, attainment and creating a safe and secure environment where children can flourish then we would love to hear from you!
We have a number of positions available across multiple schools in the Blackburn area, which include both short and long term time contracts, these will be available for your review depending on your preference and availability to schools. If you are looking for an opportunity to experience a selection of schools with flexibility to your working week then day to day support will be a great opportunity to do so.
Day to day support will require flexibility to the school's needs and the ability to utilise the teachers plans and / or the schools guidance. You will be expected to deliver pre planned work to a high standard and complete full marking in the teacher's absence. Day to day supply is a great option for a flexible work - life balance.
Longer term roles will require more responsibilities and commitment in line with the responsibilities of a full time class teacher. A successful candidate will be required to undertake the planning and preparation and delivery of their own resources and work.
As this position is a teaching role, a successful candidate must hold QTS (teaching degree or equivalent.) and have the relevant experience to work in a primary setting such as an understanding of the relevant curriculum or previous experience. For long term roles the rate of pay will be discussed at the interview stage. Please be aware that an interview or observation with the school may be required as part of the application process. We look forward to hearing from you if you are qualified and fit the criteria below.
