SF Recruitment are currently working with a service business in Birmingham in the recruitment of a Senior Management Accountant (team management included). A temporary to permanent position suited to a Qualified Management Accountant with 5 years' experience looking after multiple P&Ls & balance sheet accounts. Applicants will ideally have management experience (3+ years), strong Microsoft Excel skills, the ability to communicate and influence at Senior Manager & Director level and demonstrated history of delivering to tight deadlines. - Responsible for all Services financial reporting including monthly business review commentaries - Responsible for consolidation of UK Services reporting and detail build-up and analysis of each business area - Monthly services review meeting with leadership team delivering financial highlights and analysis - Head up the weekly annuity forecasting calls and challenge assumptions - Support financial analysis and commercial recommendations for revenue enhancement and cost reduction - Regular review of cost models to ensure revenue is attributed to the correct business units and to ensure Business Development teams have up to date cost information - Authorise UK balance sheets and recommend improvements. - Responsible for compilation, presentation and analysis of annual budgets and running forecasts - Support new business tenders and contract re-pricing with financial/cost analysis - Review team resource allocation and ensure best deployment of skills across the team, improvements to existing systems, processes & reporting in line with corporate format - Manage and feedback from process improvement projects articulating problems or limitations and redeployment of the resource if automation has improved efficiencies This role is an urgent requirement and applicants should be immediately available or a 1 week notice period.
