We are working with a successful business based in Stockport to recruit a Risk and Compliance Assistant to join their growing team.

Client Details

As Risk and Compliance Assistant, you will support the wider team in developing and promoting the risk management framework and assisting in ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations. Your duties will include:
  • Compliance monitoring and delivering the risk assurance plan in line with the company's policies
  • Ensuring all policies and processes are kept up to date
  • Producing board reports where required regarding risk and compliance
  • Assisting with handling of complaints, due diligence checks and in the oversight of third parties and intermediaries
  • Assisting in the interpretation and application of relevant regulatory guidance to the business areas
  • Preparing MI reports for risk reporting
  • Ensuring risks are identified and captured appropriately in the risk database
  • Making senior management aware of emerging risks to the business


The successful applicant to the Risk and Compliance Assistant must have:
  • Experience of compliance, risk and regulatory issues within financial services
  • Ability to process and present financial data
  • Strong Excel skills - extraction, manipulation large data sets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail
