Hybrid - Birmingham/Stafford

6-Month contract

We are seeking a Facilities Manager for our Government client. The location is hybrid, with 3+ days a week on site in Birmingham/Stafford and the remainder working remotely, workload depending. This role requires working unpredictable and unsocial hours sometimes at short notice, and to be on call to provide advice or attend sites at any time.

Clearance: SC or CTC

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Manage the development and deployment of IT solutions, change and risk management and the interaction between development and support services
• Take ownership of technical design decisions throughout the delivery and assist project decision-making around the appropriate way to achieve deployment
• Use data to inform planning
• Manage complex internal and external dependencies
• Ensure service delivery adheres to the appropriate standards
• Facilities Management experience
• Experience in application of statutory regs
• Stakeholder engagement experience
• Experience of dealing with contracted out services
• Good interpersonal skills / communicator

Desirable:

• Public Sector or Prison experience
• IWFM Level 4
• NEBOSH
• IOSH
