Events Management Executive

Tate have a new and exciting opportunity working with a prestigious pharmaceuticals company that had specialised in innovative health care solutions for over 250 years.
This role will be assisting and working alongside the events management team and an external company to arrange and coordinate events, mostly held in Birmingham.
You will be responsible for:
Assisting the events manager
Ensure that you are following industry regulations and standards
Take responsibility for each project ensuring the net and gross profit on each event is maximised
Logistical arrangements
Managing client relationships and liaising and managing external suppliers
Providing pro-active support throughout the life cycle of each event
Provide onsite event support as part of the event on site teamYou will need:
Some experience of working within the event sector
Good financial skills with the ability to understand budgets
Excellent Microsoft office skills
Great attention to details with strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to multitask, prioritise and organise your workload
Evidence of being pro-active and using your own initiative
Able to negotiate and work well under pressure
Flexible and able to travel to events outside of normal working hours
