Are you looking for a role whereby you can be the architect of Financial Planning & Analysis design for a business? This is a great interim role to do just that for one of our manufacturing clients in the North West (with some WFH). Our client is undergoing a period of transformation and they are looking for someone on and interim basis for up to 6 months to lead on the design and development of the information that the core business receives from the finance function. Outside IR35.

The role:
  • Working closely with the operations, commercial and wider business teams, your role will be to ascertain the AS IS and the TO BE blue print for the business when it comes to management information provision
  • Getting beneath the skin of the business, you will be required to delve deep into understanding the needs of the operations and commercial teams, identifying and delivering on changes required
  • The business is data hungry and you will be responsible for the developing and designing dashboards so that the metrics are being better communicated to them
  • The teams are looking for better insight into the numbers in order to make better and quicker commercial decisions based on this management information
  • You will need to have strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and data analytics skills and have good insight into costs, margin analysis
  • Have an ability be able to develop better key metrics for the business

The ideal candidate:
  • A qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA or potentially QBE
  • Have worked in a manufacturing/FMCG/Engineering sector preferably before
  • Strong commercial analysis and FP&A skills
  • Be able to communicate with a non-finance audience to understand their needs from MI from finance
  • Have the ability to deliver a workable solution and better processes
  • Have strong project skills
