Account Manager - Tech Startup/SMEs - Manchester (2 days onsite) - Up to £50,000

IN4 Group are a UK leader in digital transformation and talent development. We help businesses adopt digital technologies, and recruit highly skilled, diverse workforces capable of the innovation needed to thrive.
The Group also operates HOST - a technology hub and innovation centre in MediaCityUK that's focused on attracting digital tech businesses to accelerate their growth, delivering innovation services to start-ups, scale-ups, global corporate and government organisations.

In this role you will take a leading role to build, nurture, and scale the innovation and founder community at HOST, and among the wider IN4 innovation hubs. This includes designing and implementing the strategy to build, grow and sustain a long-term, thriving and active innovation community. There are 3 main areas:

Community Build:

Identify, recruit and onboard new members.
Work alongside the Marketing and Business Development team members to co-develop promotional material on Memberships and their benefits, including case studies and testimonials from existing members.Community Nurture:

Design and implement best practices to optimize member experience, including communication tools and assets to support the community.
Coordinate and engage with the member community, acting as a knowledge management focal point for referrals to wider support, partners, opportunities, and other members.
Schedule, plan and deliver community events, including member events, knowledge sharing events, innovation events and more, for the purpose of bringing together the community at HOST.Community Scale:

Engage with members to understand their growth plans, facilitating the appropriate introductions and referrals to wider opportunities to support this growth.
Identify opportunities external to HOST for members, including business development, marketing and skills opportunities, sharing with relevant founders and the community.
Skills/Experience Required:

A track record of developing and managing successful communities or accounts
Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to develop trusted relationships.
A knowledge of innovative businesses and start-ups across the Greater Manchester and North West business growth and innovation ecosystems.
A passion for entrepreneurship and how it can benefit communities, open-minded about the potential for identifying and creating new opportunities.
Able to both 'sell' and manage community memberships.
Able to identify and track key community metrics; gather and analyse and act on member feedback to improve engagement and participation.
Salary is up to £50,000 however we do understand the perfect candidate can fall outside these brackets so can be negotiable.

Our offices are in Media City and operate a hybrid model of working between office and home based.
