Delegated Authority Account Manager, Specialty Insurer, Salary up to 45K - 12 Month FTCYour new companyYour new job working as Delegated Authority Account Manager will be working for an established specialty Insurer based in the heart of the city. Your new company are a leading global insurer who offer a breadth of world-class insurance and reinsurance services to brokers and insureds in all major markets. Due to a growth within the Technical Operations department a 12 Month FTC has arisen for a Delegated Authority Account Manager.Your new jobYour new job working as a Delegated Authority Account Manager will be working for a friendly and dynamic team where you will be responsible for support to the Senior Account Manager(s), in relation to the management and control of all aspects of delegated authority. You will be responsible and Working under moderate direct supervision, execute the internal due diligence and external audit processes, Lloyd's approval processes for delegated authority relationships, including the review of Binding Authority documentation, ensuring adherence with company risk and compliance frameworks before the line is underwritten.. You will also Work with Underwriting, Claims and other relevant teams to ensure the companys delegated authority processes are fully understood and adopted, and queries are resolved appropriately, escalating only the most complex queries. Other duties will include Maintaining a database of all current "lead and follow" Binding Authority contracts and claims TPAs, and ensure records are properly recorded on IT systemsWhat you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as an Underwriting Support Technician, Operations Technician or a Senior Premium reconciliation Technician within a Broker, Insurer or Insurance subsidiary and have experience of Delegated Authority or Binder risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. The ideal candidate can come from a Broker, syndicate or Insurer and have in depth technical knowledge of the insurance market and Xchanging practices and policies. Advanced Excel skills are essential preferably with VBA / Macros will have Good Attention to detail with strong numerical skills and with some knowledge of the Lloyd's market. Desirable Experience of working in the Lloyd's Market/ Lloyd's systems in an environment would be advantageous or an Understanding of processing management computerized systems such as genius is desirable.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary of up to £44,000, (depending on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package.
