Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: London (E1)
Hourly Rate: £11
Full-Time Temporary
Shift Basis: Monday-Sunday allocated between 7pm-8am, 7am-8pm and 9am-5pm

Kelly Services are working in partnership with an industry leading services provider in viral challenge studies and laboratory services. They support product development for customers in infectious and respiratory therapeutics. Their Experience and know-how from over 50 challenge studies is applied to ensure effective study design and excellent service delivery for their customers.

This role is to provide support to the multidisciplinary team in the planning and execution of daily activities including panel screening, study specific screening, Quarantine and follow-up.

About your job role

Providing receptionist and administrative duties for arriving volunteers
Performing blood sampling
Perform clinical assessments taking vital signs, ECG's, venepuncture & spirometry as well as sample and data collections
Dealing with audit file preparation, database entry and general correspondence
Sample collection and management
Liaising with internal and external laboratories
Ensuring temperature checks are recorded, reported and maintained
Screening suitable volunteers including panel screening consent
Generating appointments for volunteers
Ensuring case notes and associated documents are complete and accurate

Basic Life Support
Vaccinated against Hepatitis B due to the nature of contact with volunteers
Experience of working within UK Healthcare
GCSE Grade A-C Maths and English (Or equivalent)
Demonstrated, excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to listen, clarify, identify solutions and agree actions
Good IT skills (Word and Excel or equivalent)
Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards
Ability to work independently and within the team
Clinical Care knowledge and Biological Science degree would be beneficial
Additional Information
This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to extend/become a FTC in the future
You must be flexible to cover long/night hours on a shift basis
