Financial Reporting Accountant £45-55k depending on experience Lincoln plus flexible working My client is an award winning, multi-million-pound turnover business with sites across the UK. They now have an opportunity for a Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA Financial Reporting Accountant to join their successful and established finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of company accounts, subsidiary company responsibility, support for corporate reporting and tax and be involved in wider finance project work.Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the accounting and reporting of subsidiary companies within the business. To include monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, annual budget and forecasting processes plus any ad hoc product line support requirements
- Responsibility for the consolidated group annual budget process
- Responsibility for providing monthly group reports and support for the Senior management of the business.
- Responsibility for developing, collating, and producing quarterly internal KPI's for the Senior management
- Responsibility for financial reporting to Parent Companies (IFRS/US GAAP)
- Part responsibility for implementation of new FRS102 standards
- Part responsibility with the Financial Reporting Manager for:
- Managing KPI's
- Weekly payroll approval process
- The company headcount reporting and budget processes
- Corporate reporting
- Offering 'value added' innovative solutions to support continual changing business needs
- Responsibility for preparing annual company accounts reporting into the group accounts
- Responsibility for overseeing the annual PSA process
- Responsibility for managing the annual P11d process
- Support for the group compliance function (financial, tax, audit compliance)
- Provide general support to financial administration functions, to include payment run approvals
- Participate in stock takes and fixed asset audits at other Frontier sites as part of the Finance function's wider remit.
- Fully Qualified ACCA/ACA with a good level of proven corporate accounting experience ideally in a large business
- Possess a confident and professional manner with strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships with a varied level of management across the business
- The ability to produce accurate work with an eye for detail
- Adaptable to the demands of a growing, diverse business
- The ability to pick up concepts and processes quickly
- Self-motivated and capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel where intermediate/advanced skills are essential
- Focused on doing the right thing for customers, colleagues, and ourselves
- Flexible approach to work and managing changing priorities
- An effective team player taking a share of team responsibilities, being supportive of others
