Are you a Marketing Assistant looking for an exciting and challenging new role with an established Company who are looking to develop and implement its marketing strategy? If so this may be a fantastic opportunity to join a Company who are established within their industry.THE ROLEYou will work with the Marketing Manager and support the development and implementation of the company's marketing strategy. This role will give the right candidate the opportunity to work on a broad range of Marketing activities. You will be the first point of contact for the marketing department. Manage marketing activity plans for campaigns, targeted email marketing (including building and writing email copy), social media campaigns and content planning, managing marketing collateral & brand assets, sales support and liaising with external agencies where needed.PERSON PROFILEOur client is looking for a Marketing Assistant who is creative with different ideas and not afraid to put their ideas to the team. You will be a great communicator and have the personality to gel with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a problem solver with a can-do attitude, and willing to pitch in where required. The Marketing Assistant must have excellent communication and ideally be from B2B background.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Marketing Assistant you will be:
  • Responsible for supporting the delivery of multi-channel marketing activities.
  • Managing a number of day-to-day projects to support sales teams.
  • Proactively creating and scheduling social media content across email, social, print and websites
  • Database management
  • Producing templates for marketing and sales support material as required, including e-shots, presentations and news items.
  • Internal communications, developing internal publications and managing intranet.
  • Agency liaison.
  • Supporting marketing activity with market intelligence, research and analysis.
  • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required. Please note that this will change as the role and function to the business develop
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in web/digital management and marketing.
  • Experience in creating and executing social media plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with a positive professional attitude, strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent relationship builder with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
  • Natural creativity and flexibility in approach.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Educated in Marketing or Design
  • Experience within the wider construction industry or supply of technical products.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • Basic graphic design skills.
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization.
  • Experience of using Adobe Premiere Pro software.
