As bank staff, you will join Chadwick Lodge in providing supportive and therapeutic care for adults with a physical disability, brain injury, neurological condition or learning disability. Within this specialist care home, the 24-hour on-site nursing team also supports individuals with additional physical health conditions.

With experience from the NHS and/or private sector, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, which will see you provide assessments, plan, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned to care plans.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will create individual rapports to design and deliver facilitated evidence-based group and individual programmes based on their needs and interest to ensure.

With a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you reach your career goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing effective and accurate clinical entries and outcomes of activities using an electronic patient database system
Developing patients' programmes as informed by individual patient's needs
Assisting the occupational therapy team run on and off ward sessions.
Participating in monthly clinical supervision with the Occupational Therapist and the organisation's system of appraisal
Developing and supporting the introduction of vocational rehabilitation
To assist Occupational Therapists, Nurses and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records, including care notes, written reports and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and professional standard.
To provide technical support and instruction to patients engaging in creative and vocational activities as therapeutic interventionsTo be successful in this role:

Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
Driving License
Experience in working within a similar environment
Occupational Therapy assessment processes and report writing
Facilitating individual and group therapyWhat you will get:
