Are you looking for a new role in Marketing? If so look no further! Berry Recruitment has registered a new opportunity that has just arisen to join our client based in the Harwell area as a Temporary Marketing Assistant.

Role: Temporary Marketing Assistant

Location: Harwell

Hours: Hybrid Working - Likely to be 2-3 days per week in the office.

Salary: £22,000 per Annum

Role Responsibilities:

Acting as the first point of contact for all marketing enquiries, ensuring all communications are managed effectively, professionally and in a timely manner
Assisting in the execution of the marketing activities and campaigns (e.g. email marketing, Google AdWords, Facebook advertising, updates to website, campaign reporting and administration)
Assisting in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials including e-shots, brochures, flyers, website and social media updates working with partners and suppliers as appropriate
Ensuring that internal campaign briefs, artwork, work instructions etc. are correctly filed, available and organised for future reference by the team and wider business
Ensuring that the National Garden Gift Voucher and Garden Gift Card consumer websites and the marketing sections of both the company website and member store are maintained and kept up to date
Extracting and analysing data for targeted marketing campaigns from both internal and external sources and managing queries generated from marketing campaigns
Co-ordinating and publishing Marketing activity reports as required
Managing all team specific office administration duties
Dealing with external suppliers with regards to invoices and queries
Regularly recording member contact ensuring that the interaction and outcomes are input to the membership database (CRM) to maintain records and reference member data
Following organisational process and procedures to ensure member expectations and agreed service level agreements are met
Managing and protecting member and customer information in accordance with company policy and General Data Protection Regulations
Undertaking such other duties, commensurate with the responsibilities above, as may from time to time be required by members of the company management team

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

The ability to work as part of a team, support colleagues and promote excellent team spirit
Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills
Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and within a small team
Excellent IT literacy, with demonstrable knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel Educated to GCSE standard
Prepared to travel for external meetings/events, which may involve overnight stays, with a willingness to be flexible on hours if necessary
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Previous experience or knowledge of working within a Marketing team, ideally with a good understanding of CRM/Click Dimensions/Google analytics
Previous experience within the Horticulture industry
An enthusiasm for gardens/gardening, the outdoor environment and contributing positively to it
Willingness to begin/complete CIM Marketing qualifications
