Absolute Executive Search are partnered with an educational establishment based in South East London who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join their friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of the finance function within an educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing relevant statutory compliance documentation and submissions for the school in line with the requirements of regulatory bodies and agencies.
  • Oversee the management of the school funds.
  • Manage the school budget process including planning the annual budget.
  • Manage the schools assets.
  • Manage the payroll function.
  • Develop, when and where appropriate, more efficient and effective financial accounting systems.

Key Requirements for the role:
  • AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Good knowledge of the Finance function in an educational establishment is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of running a small finance team.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks.


35 Hours per week - Monday to Friday
