All applicants must hold a current Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and able to work within the county of Surrey.

The starting salary for this position is £15,158 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.

This position sits within the Education and Culture, Finance Team and will be of interest for those looking to develop a career in accountancy as you work towards a Level 2 qualification.

Our 18-month Apprenticeship scheme provides a perfect way to earn a wage while you gain vital work experience and a nationally recognised qualification. You will be fully supported and mentored through your apprenticeship and be given protected time to complete your course work. The scheme is designed for individuals who are living and entitled to work in England and are not in full-time education.

This Apprenticeship scheme is a great opportunity to gain experience and training. You will gain the skills needed for a professional role that will make a difference for people in Surrey. You will receive guidance and career support every step of the way.

Some of the tasks you will be involved with in the role include:
  • Extracting data from IT systems to manipulate and analyse
  • Updating workbooks that are integral to monthly financial monitoring
  • Producing graphs and other analytical data
  • Other ad hoc work to benefit the service
  • This role will also require you to communicate and liaise with service users and schools.
