Our client is an award-winning commercial firm who are looking to bring on board a Real Estate Lawyer with between 1-3 years' PQE for an initial contract of 6-12 months. There is the potential for the role to become a permanent position after the initial contract term, and the team has a good track record of extending permanent offers to those who initially joined on a contract basis. The property team has a diverse client base including corporate occupiers, high net worth individuals, banks/lenders, property developers and investors across a range of sectors to include retail, leisure, transport, logistics, education, health and the public sector. The successful lawyer can expect to support on complex, market leading transactions (notably within the logistic sector) as well as have responsibility for their own caseload of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant lease negotiations and lending transactions. Key responsibilities will include acquisitions and disposals of investment property; negotiating leases and associated landlord and tenant documents (acting for both landlords and tenants); dealing with development documentation; property portfolio management including licences, consents and underleases; reviewing, reporting and advising on title matters and advising on heads of terms. The successful lawyer will be joining a well-stocked team and will have support from more senior members of the team wherever required. The firm is widely recognised for their flexible working policies, for which they have won awards. Candidates are likely to be qualified lawyers in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for instance); have between 1-3 years' PQE and possess experience in handling commercial real estate caseloads from notable City or notable regional firms. Candidates falling outside the stated PQE bracket will also be considered. For further information, and a confidential conversation, please apply to Jennifer Pike. Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment. Please note: Where a level of experience, such as 'PQE', is indicated, please note that this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience. This does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience To view a list of other current job opportunities, please visit
