- £150 - 210 per day, depending on experience
- Must Have QTS
- Must be able to work 5 days a week
The school are seeking a teacher of Science - any specialism for a full time immediate March start. The successful applicant will be teaching year 7 - year 11 Science. This Science teaching post is open to experienced Science teachers as well as NQTs.
Responsibility/Job Description:
- Designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines.
- Drawing up suitable assessments and delivering helpful feedback to students, parents, and other teachers.
- Establishing classroom, lab, and field trip rules and regulations and ensuring that all students understand what is expected of them.
- Creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and voicing concerns.
- Plan and prepare schemes of work, courses and lessons, which provide students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment/achievement.
The right candidate will need to have the following:
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things
- Leadership skills, demonstrate excellent classroom management abilities.
- To be flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal communication skills, a patient and creative individual.
- Administration skills
- To be able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
- Planning and implementing Science teaching strategies.
- Proven work experience as a Science Teacher, Teacher, or a similar role in the Education department.
