About the Role

As a Trainer working within the Homeless Service Team at St John Ambulance, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of First Aid and Health & Safety training courses to local service providers with a focus on care for homeless clients. Due to our wide range of customers, no training course should ever be the same, and you will deal with people from all backgrounds with different learning styles.

You must, therefore, have the ability to remain passionate, and engaging while delivering training and have the expertise to deliver the content at the right pace for the training groups, as often these training courses can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

As part of your role, you will receive constant training and development.

Please see the job description for more detail (this can be viewed on our website or once you click apply)

About You

You will be a passionate and engaging trainer, with experience coaching and training adults. Ideally, you will have a level 3 training qualification (if you don't, we could consider you as a Trainee Trainer), it would also be a distinct advantage to have first aid training experience.

As the role gives you the chance to travel throughout the region visiting different training and client sites, you must have the ability to travel around the region and preferably access to a car. You will have the right to work in the UK and be well organised and motivated.
