LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a 1:1 support at an Ofsted 'Good' Primary School in the Blackburn area. This new role is a temporary position , starting in September 2022 and is with the view to go to permanent for the right candidate. The role is covering 5 days a week and is from 08:30am to 15:15pm. This is a busy and friendly school and they offer a broad and balanced curriculum and aim to prepare children for the experiences of life.

In this role the candidate will be providing 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 5.

The candidate should be confident to support the pupil with speech and language needs and Motor skills.

The candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). A contract is on offer for the right candidate.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

•Monitoring targets for future progress

•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers

•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils

•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school's practice

•Excellent behaviour management skills
