Optimise are delighted to be working alongside a wonderful not for profit organisation based in Sheffield. Our client is looking for a retail manager to help successfully manage a team of staff and volunteers within the donation centre.
Within your new role you will be responsible for managing the operation of donated goods and distributing orders as necessary to the retail chain from shop requests. You will effectively manage staff and volunteers whilst ensuring a high-quality retail service in relation to agreed performance targets, whilst ensuring all appropriate standards of security and health and safety are met.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for promoting and advertising the great work that the organisation carries out via various platforms including social media channels. You will also ensure the operational infrastructure is fit for purpose and that the speed, accuracy, and quality of the stock processing and deliveries meet the needs of the retail chain.
In order to succeed within this role, you must have experience within a retail environment alongside management or team leader experience. Additionally, the ability manage stock to minimise loss and maximise income throughout the chain. Overall, our client is looking for a candidate with a proactive work ethic alongside the ability to work well under pressure.
