This role is for a Secondary school located in Harrow. The most fitting candidate would be finalised based on a trial and interview with the school.

The School:
This is a highly successful sixth-form school in Harrow with an inclusive culture for students and staff. They offer highly ambitious programs for the development of their teaching staff. The school also offers many opportunities for NQTs, PGCE trainees and others. They have a very dedicated SLT team of teachers for maintaining staff well-being. Moreover, they have a strong safeguarding policy and a separate team of teachers to maintain an overall culture of safeguarding within the school premises.

The successful candidate must:

Be a qualified English Teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B.Ed. Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
Demonstrate recent experience as a English Teacher or Trainee Teacher
Hold an honours degree or equivalent in B.Ed.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
You are required to have:

The Right to Work in the UK
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
Two professional child related references
