FEV UK are in an exciting time with several new projects coming on board, meaning there is an opportunity for a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

FEV UK is the subsidiary of FEV Europe for the British market covering the UK customers and together with our global teams we deliver projects. From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on exciting powertrain projects contributing to significant reduction in CO2 in transportation and mobility.

Your new role

As our Project Manager you will take responsibility for working closely with our customers and engineering teams to develop and deliver project plans through to completion, manage the budgets and link the customer and engineering teams.

You will have the opportunity for personal development within an international, innovative and technology driven company with good development opportunities as automotive consultants, technical specialists, and project managers. Key responsibilities will include


The key project interface to the customers and FEV engineering teams


Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to motivate and ensure successful project delivery


Generating realistic, achievable project plans and driving these through to completion


Working with the Sales Team to realise opportunities


Providing updates to management on the state of projects and developing action plans to resolve issues


Manage the budgets, costs and forecasting cost to complete for the projects

Skills and experience required


Degree qualified, ideally from a business, engineering or science related background


Relevant project or programme management experience, ideally in an automotive or engineering industry and working in an engineering project environment


Highly motivated, organised and approachable person


Attention to detail, ability for planning and to follow through in their execution


Ability to lead and motivate cross functional engineering teams with an enthusiasm and passion to successfully deliver projects to meet the performance objectives


Strong numeracy, literacy and logic with great communication, interpersonal and people skills


Experience of working within a Product Development Process or with an OEM development process


Ideally have a driving license and ability to travel

You will earn a salary of £30,000 - £50,000, depending on experience and specialist knowledge.

Additional benefits are up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contribution, access to a bike scheme, vehicle scheme and training opportunities as part of FEV UK. The role is based in our Technical Centre in Coventry but also provides some flexibility of hybrid working from home.
