We have partnered with a leading energy provider who are looking for an Accountant to join their team.
The role involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation. The main
focus of the role is to complete payments, control expenses as well as processing, verifying and
reconciling invoices.
Location - London, hybrid.
Salary - £180 -200 per day
Contract - 6 months - initially
Responsibilities include:
· Processing employee expense claims
· Processing invoices
· Setting up Overhead payments
· Maintaining up to date and accurate accounting records in financial systems
· Cash postings and allocations
· Managing unallocated payments report
· Issuing Intercompany Recharges
· Completion of multi-currency bank reconciliations
· Assisting with on-going departmental projects and ad-hoc tasks/reporting
· General office administration
· Assist with on-going departmental projects and ad-hoc tasks/reporting
Experience needed
· Understanding of basic accounting functions AP/AR, reconciliations, double-entry bookkeeping is essential.
· General ledger experience
· Experience with BACS and Cross Border Payments
