A mentor - An experienced and trusted adviser. What does being a mentor mean to you? If it's expertly advising and training your team, I'd like to have a chat with you.

As we are all aware, the world of engineering has hit a plateau and we aren't having the same interest as we once had. Which is why, it is imperative that we continue to develop and drip feed every ounce of knowledge to those who are stepping up to the plate.

Which is where you come in. How would you like to develop and nurture a team of engineers through the ups and downs of the day to day maintenance of the food industry? Could you make the life of your team that bit easier by dedicating time to specific PPM's, helping to prioritise breakdowns and improvements? Would you be there in the trenches with them offering unwavering support and knowledge. When the time comes for you to hang up your tools, what kind of legacy would you like to leave behind?

If the above resonates with you, I'd really like to have a conversation with you because we are looking for someone who understands the daily struggles of the manufacturing industry and wants to make a difference.

What will we need from you? You will need to have a recognised Engineering Qualification, whether that is an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or a HNC/HND equivalent in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Whilst you'll need to be qualified and have experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we would also like for you to have had some previous leadership experience and be able to demonstrate where you have previously mentored a team and improved engineering performance.
