Teaching Assistant | British Sign Language

Do you have a qualification in British Sign Language Level 2 or 3 and would like to work in a primary school based in Birmingham?

Can you support a child who is hard of hearing on a 1:1 basis, helping them learning British Sign Language?

*** BSL Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant
*** September opportunity until July 2023
*** £70 - £80 per day
*** 'Outstanding primary school based in Central Birmingham
*** 1:1 support to female pupil who is hard of hearing

We are looking for a BSL level 2 or 3 trained Teaching Assistant to support a hearing-impaired student in this lovely mainstream primary school based in Central Birmingham. The role will start in September 2022 until July 2023.

You will provide support for a pupil with Hearing Impairment within the classroom, be the first point of contact for this pupil, support the class teacher, and help the pupils to communicate with the teacher and other students.
