An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Head of Brand Strategy based in West Sussex. The successful candidate must be able to visit the offices 2 days per week; and will be an exceptional leader and influencer. In this role, you will inspire the global brand strategy and activation team to develop an internationally relevant strategy, roadmap and activation plan in order to deliver the brand, customer and commercial goals.

Description

The successful Interim Head of Brand Strategy will be responsible for;
  • Leading, coaching and inspiring the team to achieve exemplary performance levels by setting clear leadership behaviours, aligning individual objectives and building a culture of accountability
  • Shaping and delivering the global brand strategy including the development and deployment of brand initiatives to drive both brand and commercial objectives.
  • Building outstanding cross-functional relationships, delivering "fewer, bigger, better" activities which deliver targets.
  • Spearheading the development of the 3-year global brand strategy
  • Building strong relationships with the marketing teams across all markets in support of better integration and coordination of marketing efforts to achieve goals.

Profile

The successful Interim Head of Brand Strategy will have the following expertise:
  • Significant experience in recognised global brands; including managing large scale, high value brands with complex routes to market.
  • Significant experience operating at senior leadership level, with accountability for the full marketing mix.
  • Strong influencing skills; able to develop a simple and compelling brand narrative which galvanizes the entire business.
  • Proven track record at leading team transformation, effective coaching, performance management and recruitment.
  • Analytical and insight-led.
