Spencer Clarke Group work closely with local authority SEN services nationwide providing them with experienced SEND professionals into a variety of roles.

We are looking to make multiple appoints of SEN Case Officers for a Local Authority on the Southcoast.

AS an SEN Officer, you will Focus on children and young people's outcomes, and enabling children and families in BCP, this post involves the management of Special Educational Needs and Disability' (SEND) casework and the effective administration of the procedures relating to the statutory assessment of children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Contract Details

Pay Scale - Starting from £250-£280 per day - Negotiable depending on experience.

Location - Remote Working for the duration of the contract.

Contract Length - 3-6 month+ rolling contract highly likely to be extended on an ongoing basis.

The key deliverables within this role:

To ensure that the council meets its statutory targets, quality standards and performance indicators, working within a cross-service setting and within a multi-agency context
Make evidence based and outcome focused recommendations in relation to securing progress for CYP with EHCP, making or maintaining appropriate placements and the required level of resources
Ensure that the service maintains a high level of financial and budgetary control in relation to High Needs Block spending
Contribute to training programmes with schools, parents, Children's Services and partner agencies
