ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Stourbridge on a full-time basis. The school caters to students with complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties.

About the role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the development and welfare of students.
Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff, in small groups or one-to-one.
Work with students from the age of four to eighteen.
Full-time role to begin in September with the possibility to be ongoing for the right SEN Teaching Assistant

About you:

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties and sensory needs.
Level three qualification such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
