I am urgently seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst, for a key client of mine based in Redhill (this is an office based role so you will need to be able to get there on a daily basis).

Reporting to the Credit Risk Manager, you will be based within the Income & Operations department who are responsible for limiting the bad debt risk through enforcement of the credit risk policy and thorough analysis and understanding of the customer portfolio. The role involves the management of credit risk processes across a variety of sales channels including detailed credit analysis, relationship management, portfolio analysis and credit insurance management. The key function is to add value to the business while preventing financial loss or unsecured risk.

Duties as the credit risk analyst will include:

1. Responsibility for credit vetting of all new and renewal business proposals in line with agreed SLA and DOA process.2. Produce monthly statistical analysis and reporting on all credit vetting activities including adherence, acceptance and declined rates.3. Continually strive to improve the vetting process considering accuracy, speed, quality of service and reporting.4. Assist Credit Risk Manager in implementing changes to the Credit Policy and internal processes.5. Provide training when required on different aspects of Credit Risk to other departments of the business6. Produce specific detailed customer reviews where required7. Review accounts for self-insurance8. Review all adverse insurance decisions and if required submit appeals on behalf of the company9. Support the effective management of the insurance processes10. Manage the high-risk ledger and assist credit control team in the resolution of specific issues11. Attend sales or customer meetings to resolve credit issues when required12. Manage all ad hoc requests into the Credit Risk inbox13. Provide credit expertise to sales when required to assist with securing new business14. Responsibility for managing activities to ensure all relevant HSE risks are appropriately mitigated

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years' Experience in a credit related rolesHigh Standard of Excel SkillsExperience of data analysis, manipulation and reporting

This is a temporary role for 5 months initially and my client is keen to have someone with good, excel and admin skills, along with good analysis skills. If you can start on less than one weeks notice and can travel to Redhill, Surrey on a daily basis, please apply for immediate consideration.
