Electronics engineer working in a multi discipline R&D team responsible for the design and development of industrial measurement and analytical products, particularly in the field of flow measurement, water analysis and gas analysis.

  • Design, develop and test electronics following processes aligned to recognised best practices to meet required specifications and ensure compliance to internal and external standards.
  • Support strategic technology direction through own work and by proposing innovative technology development, application and solutions. Maintain awareness of state-of-art technology and market trends affecting company products and services and recommend appropriate actions in response.
  • Apply a variety of accepted technology concepts as well as having the resourcefulness to apply new methodologies and technologies to projects and problems.
  • Proactively identify customer value and implement creative ideas based on customer needs.
  • Provide information to allow creation of target specifications and accurate project plans.
  • Provide advice to management regarding projects, initiatives and technical investigations, on their potential application and the resolution of complex problems.
  • Propose, develop and implement measures to improve design team operations and customer satisfaction.

Actively work to identify and mitigate technical risks in product development projects and activities, including feasibility exercises and intellectual property searches


  • Good degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or other relevant technical discipline

  • Experience in analog and digital electronic hardware design, including instrumentation front-end measurement and ultra low power design.
  • Experience in designing for EMC and safety standards, including transposing electronic designs onto PCB.

Knowledge of embedded software development (C, C++, etc).
