Description
- Design, develop and test electronics following processes aligned to recognised best practices to meet required specifications and ensure compliance to internal and external standards.
- Support strategic technology direction through own work and by proposing innovative technology development, application and solutions. Maintain awareness of state-of-art technology and market trends affecting company products and services and recommend appropriate actions in response.
- Apply a variety of accepted technology concepts as well as having the resourcefulness to apply new methodologies and technologies to projects and problems.
- Proactively identify customer value and implement creative ideas based on customer needs.
- Provide information to allow creation of target specifications and accurate project plans.
- Provide advice to management regarding projects, initiatives and technical investigations, on their potential application and the resolution of complex problems.
- Propose, develop and implement measures to improve design team operations and customer satisfaction.

Profile
Essential
- Good degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
Desirable
- Experience in analog and digital electronic hardware design, including instrumentation front-end measurement and ultra low power design.
- Experience in designing for EMC and safety standards, including transposing electronic designs onto PCB.
Knowledge of embedded software development (C, C++, etc).
