Italian Speaking IT Support Agent
  • Location: Wigan
  • Salary: Up to £34,000
  • Contract: Full time, Permanent
  • Hours: 4-on-4-off rotation pattern, working 7am to 7pm and rotation 7pm to 7am

My client based in Wigan is looking to recruit an Italian Speaking Helpdesk / 1st Line Technical Support Advisor to work out of their main office on a permanent basis, offering a salary of £25,000 - £29,000 (dependant on experience) with an additional £5,000 shift allowance. Potential salary of up to £34,000 inclusive of shift allowance..

As a Helpdesk Advisor you will be dealing with inbound and outbound customer service calls and e-mails from both Italian and English speaking customers, ensuring the service you provide is thorough and customer centric.

Job Description:
  • Provide 1st line support to all end users globally
  • Incident Management and Resolution
  • Ability to solve basic, common user problems in real time, including software functionality; data communication/network troubleshooting and installation, PC and network configuration; operating systems and browser related issues
  • Escalation to Tier 2 when unable to resolve issues
  • To provide an excellent customer service experience whilst managing customer expectation
  • To manage faults, requests and enquiries on behalf of the customer

Person Specification:
  • Fluent English and Italian language skills
  • Previous experience within a technical support role
  • Flexible to work on a 4-on-4-off rotation pattern, working 7am to 7pm and rotation 7pm to 7am
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Affective time management skills, with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
  • Ability to manage workload whilst reviewing changing priorities
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
