Finance Assistant | £20,762 | Bolton | 12 month FTC | Full-time | 25 days holiday + BH Your new companyYour new company is a well established manufacturing company in the healthcare industry, and due to a colleague going on maternity leave, they are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Your new roleIn your new role as Finance Assistant, you will report into the Finance Transactions Manager and you will be responsible for supporting the purchase and sales ledger in the timely and accurate processing of invoices. Your main day to day duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to assisting with the reconciliation of supplier and customer statements, daily reconciliation of the purchase and sales ledger, using company CRM system and Sage to assist in the process of payments to suppliers and assist in the distribution of monthly statements and cash allocation for all ledgers. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful for this position, you will have worked in finance previously, ideally a similar position within a fast paced Finance/Office environment. You will be IT savvy with a good knowledge of Sage, Excel and the rest of the MS Suite and be able to adapt to new systems where required. Due to the nature of the role, you must have a strong and confident telephone manner to be able to speak to clients and customers over the phone on a daily basis.What you'll get in returnIn return for this, you will receive £20,762 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, holiday buy scheme, cycle to work scheme, standard company pension and more.
